As artists, we challenge ourselves because that’s how we find The Muse.
The Muse doesn’t just sit around waiting for us. We have to get to work to find her. Sometimes that means opening ourselves up to new experiences and learning from others.
That’s why last week I hosted The Working Artist 5-Day Challenge in celebration of International Artist’s Day.
I am so proud of every artist who participated. In fact, I was introduced to so many new artists and Muses that my creative spirit is jumping with joy! I am so grateful to everyone who participated.
Check it out! Here are just a few of the many inspiring posts:
Day 1: Look for The Muse! Visit a gallery or museum or artist’s studio (online counts too!)
Day 2: Share your workspace!
Day 3: In five words or less, tell us about your work!
Day 4: Share your inspiration!
Day 5: Show your support! Introduce us to an artist we don’t know.
There were hundreds of inspiring responses, and I am so grateful to everyone who participated.
