RSA × The Working Artist Academy Scholarship
These terms govern participation in the RSA × Working Artist Academy Scholarship (the “Scholarship”) organized by The Working Artist LLC, a U.S.–based company.
Eligibility
- Open only to current Fellows of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) who are in good standing.
- Applicants must be visual artists aged 19 or older.
- Applications must be made personally by the artist; entries submitted on someone’s behalf will not be accepted.
- No purchase is necessary.
How to Enter
- Entry is completed by taking the Art Readiness Assessment and providing a valid email address.
- Only one entry per artist will be considered.
- Entries must be received before 11:59 p.m. GMT on December 23, 2025. Late entries cannot be accepted.
Selection and Notification
- Up to five artists will be chosen to receive full scholarships (approximate value £2,599) to The Working Artist Academy, including one-on-one mentorship sessions.
- If fewer places are available due to unforeseen circumstances, the number of awards may be reduced. Depending on the number of entries, winners may be selected either by random draw, or by a combination of draw and review by Crista Cloutier and the Working Artist Mentors.
- Winners will be notified by email on December 30, 2025, and publicly announced on The Working Artist website and RSA channels.
Scholarship Details
- Scholarships cover full tuition for the Academy program and assigned mentorship sessions.
- Any additional expenses, such as art materials, technology, or internet access, are the artist’s responsibility.
- There is no cash equivalent or transfer option.
Participation Expectations
- Winners agree to make a good-faith commitment to participate fully in the Academy, including attending mentorship sessions and completing coursework.
- If a selected artist withdraws or fails to engage, The Working Artist LLC reserves the right to select an alternate participant.
Case Studies and Publicity
- Winners agree to participate in interviews and allow the use of their name, likeness, artwork, and statements for educational and promotional purposes related to The Working Artist and the RSA partnership.
- These materials may appear on websites, newsletters, social media, or other publications as celebratory case studies.
- No financial compensation will be provided for this participation.
Data and Privacy
- By entering, participants consent to join The Working Artist mailing list and receive emails about the Fellowship and related opportunities.
- Personal data will be handled in compliance with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws.
- Participants may unsubscribe at any time.
General Terms
- The Working Artist LLC reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Scholarship if necessary circumstances arise, such as mentor availability or program changes.
- The program is offered “as is,” with no guarantees of career outcomes or future opportunities.
- Participation signifies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- All decisions made by The Working Artist LLC are final.
