Teresa Wilson is an emerging photographer and digital artist who takes photographic images and creates works of art digitally. Wilson’s fascination with photography began in graduate school while studying fisheries biology and hiking with her friends. Though she followed the career in fisheries, she continued to photograph. Largely self-taught, she has taken several photography and classes. A few years ago she took Photoshop Artistry training with Sebastian Michaels and discovered a way to take her images to a new level. She is a member of Michaels advanced group, AWAKE.
Ms Wilson won Honorable Mention for her digital art The Eyes Have It in the ShiftArt.com February 2018 Challenge. Enchantment was published in the October 2017 issue of Living the Artistic Life. Winter Solstice and Busy Fly appeared in the Top 500 for Flickr Explore.
She lives in Winston-Salem, NC, where she is currently preparing a body of work for future exhibition.

Being outside is rejuvenating and soothing to my spirit. For years I’ve made photographs of the outdoors for pleasure and self-expression. Now when I shoot, I’m thinking about how I’ll use the image in Photoshop to create a work of art, whether impressionistic, whimsical or grunge.
The average American spends 93% of their life indoors. I want my work to inspire others to go outside, take a walk and smell the roses.
